Inbenta’s leadership

Melissa is an investor in Inbenta and serves as the CEO. Melissa has over 30 years of leadership experience across various roles in insurance and technology. Previously, she co-founded GIACT Systems and served as CEO until its acquisition by Refinitiv, a London Stock Exchange Group company, in 2020. Under her leadership, GIACT built a client base of over 1,000 companies, including Fortune 500 firms, and was recognized for excellence in fraud and risk technology. She is passionate about AI technology and championing its adoption across countless use cases for enterprise businesses.

Merlin is an investor in Inbenta and leads IT infrastructure and new product development to further expand Inbenta’s conversational AI platform with GenAI capabilities.

He brings over 20 years of experience in technology leadership, with deep expertise in combating fraud through innovative solutions and designing a sophisticated OCR platform. His forward thinking and creativity have allowed him to build multiple AI platforms that serve some of the largest corporations in the world.

Merlin formerly co-founded GIACT Systems (acquired by LSEG) and during his tenure, he drove new product development and implemented technology across some of the largest global enterprises, including Equifax, Walmart, Costco, PayPal, Intuit, AIG, Quicken, PNC Bank, American Red Cross and federal and state entities.

Adam Rivera is the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) at Inbenta, where he leads the company’s legal and compliance team. Adam has over 20 years of legal and management experience and has worked for various large global organizations in different roles. Always curious about the latest technology, Adam joined Inbenta from DoorDash, and really enjoys the challenges in navigating the AI space. Outside of work, when not carting his kids to/from sporting events, Adam can be found on his road bike exploring his local communities.

Lesli Mais is the Global People Leader at Inbenta with over 20 years of diverse experience spanning Fortune 500 companies, startups, and professional services. Her expertise includes People, Implementation, HR Operations, Talent, Organizational Design, and M&A integration. A Baylor University graduate, Lesli focuses on aligning people, infrastructure, and strategies with company culture, vision, and goals. She builds and empowers world-class teams through credibility, communication, and understanding. Outside work, Lesli enjoys family and friends, being a football and martial arts mom, and caring for her extended animal family.

Sarah Johnson is the Global Head of Client Success at Inbenta. She leads the Client Success team with a zeal to ensure maximum value realization and growth with all existing clients. Sarah’s passion for creative problem solving, consultative solutioning and building strategic customer, stakeholder and partnership relationships has empowered technological advances for customers worldwide, from startups to Fortune 50 companies.

Jeff Caton is the Head of Global Commercial Operations at Inbenta, where he leads the company’s revenue growth strategies with a focus on leveraging AI-driven solutions to enhance customer and employee experience infrastructures helping organizations across the globe scale innovation. With over 20 years of experience in sales leadership Jeff’s career is marked by his ability to navigate complete technological landscapes and his unwavering commitment to leveraging technology to achieve business objectives.
