Claro Americas is part of América Móvil, a Mexican telecom group serving clients in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.

Claro brand was created 2003 in Brazil by the merger of operators owned by America Movil : ATL ( Rio de Janeiro, Espirito Santo ), BCP ( São Paulo, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Ceará, Paraíba, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte ) Americel ( Acre, Tocantins, Rondonia, the Federal District of Brazil, Goias, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul ), Tess Cell (other areas of the State of São Paulo ) and Claro Digital ( Rio Grande do Sul).

Globally, the company has about 262 million wireless customers, 30 million fixed lines, 17 million broadband users and 16 million cable TV subscribers.

Inbenta uses natural language processing and Semantic Search to answer Claro’s customers questions quick, easily and most importantly with answers that make sense. Since launching Inbenta, Claro has deflected thousands of emails and calls to call centers, thus reducing their customer support cost.
