8-9 September 2011, Barcelona, Spain
The Meaning-Text Theory emerged as a result of the work in automatic translation carried out in the USSR during the 1940s and is characterized by the central position of Semantics and the Lexicon, as well as the importance given to the communicative and informational aspects of language.
The scheduled lectures will cover several areas in Linguistics such as dictionaries and lexical semantics, collocations/lexical functions, semantic derivation and morphology, terminology, computational applications, and other topics.
Inbenta sponsors this conference with the main goal of creating a meeting point where researchers and linguists from around the world can put forward, analyze, and discuss the latest scientific steps in the field of Linguistics and Computational Linguistics.
